How do i get to play professional tennis?

Okay well im quite good at tennis and have been playing for about 4 years and im 13 now! I play for a small club at the moment and i just wonderd ow i could get to play professional?

your probably too late, the best start at 3-6 years old, you need to be amazingly good. How many people your age do you know that can beat you.

But the basic rout to becoming a pro in the uk would be:

Start young:3-6

Play every second day till about 8
At 8 join a team
At 10 start playing under 12s competitions
From 12-14 you want to be doing well QFs to Winning at grade 2 and 3 tournaments
From 14-16 you want to be winning the grade 3s and doing well in grade 2s you also want to be Playing ETA tournaments and county cup
By under 18s you need to improve hugely and be wionning grade 1 and 2 tournaments
Then you would want to play futures event qualifiers
Eventually qualify for a tournament and keep repeating this
Then play challengers when youur world ranking is high enough to enter the qualifiers
Start winning challengers, and get into atp world tour qualifiers (by this point your still losing money and probably unsponsored too)
Start qualifying for ATP tour events ( your now making money)

Then if your injured or have a bad season your ranking drops and your back playing futures and challengers and must repeat the whole thing.

Through-out this your constatly spending money and training.

If your talking about becoming a professional coach then its much simpler!!

Be good at tennis
Do your mini tennis qualifications
Then your level one coaching
Do a play test if your not a 4.1 or lower
Do level 2 and 3 coaching if you pass the play test with the required result
